The videos below were filmed as part of my Graduate Diploma in Journalism program at Concordia University. They all aired on Canal Savoir in February 2014.
Seeing Voices Montreal
It can often be difficult for Deaf and hearing people to communicate socially. Last Fall, a sign language teacher and his dedicated students at McGill decided to change that. They created “Seeing Voices Montreal.” It’s a group that tries to bridge that gap between Deaf and hearing communities by mixing sign language and drama.
Montreal Light Design
It takes more than a lightbulb to light up a city. In Montreal, lighting design is a thriving business that Montrealers may not know exists. And it’s all going down in the Quartier des spectacles.
Montreal’s oldest urban horse stable was built 150 years ago in what is now Griffintown.
But new real-estate development in the area threatens the historic site and the horses who call it home.
Below are two samples of radio work I produced during my studies in journalism at Concordia.
